Milton was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a very good communicator. Although we have traveled the Caribbean extensively, we had never visited the Dominican Republic. Milton explained the history and culture of his country in an exciting way. We asked him to take us to lunch at a place he would take his family. Not only did we have local food, but it gave us a chance to talk with him further. We were on a cruise ship and Puerto Plata is a new port so have recommended him to cruise friends

Damajagua Waterfalls Half Day Tour. Milton was a fantastic tour guide! The Damajagua Waterfalls were a lot of fun. After that he stopped at a fruit stand and bought us different fresh fruit to try. He took us to very good local coffee shop, and showed us around Puerta Plata. We wanted to go to the beach, and he was able to get us into a very high end resort's beach, where we could order food and drinks delivered to beds on the beach. Milton was very accommodating and gave us the perfect experience in DR.

Disappointed: Our snorkeling excursion was cancelled because of bad weather. The problem is no emails, txt, or phone call to let us know. We left boat ready for that. Walked out of port area to meet Milton, who I had talked to, to verify everything was fine and we had each other contacts. He wasn’t even there. Someone got a hold of him on their phone, and he told me it was cancelled. I asked to just refund money, but apparently they had problems with pay pal account. Got my refund in about a month. Milton was very apologetic and really tried to make things right.
